Rumaal helps adults meet people going to the same events. Here is what we collect and why.

What we collect

Your Google account email, the profile you write (first name, age, gender, who you want to meet, city, work, bio, interests), up to two profile photos, a live selfie and your LinkedIn link, the events you mark as going, Chitthis and chat messages, blocks and reports, and basic usage events (which buttons are tapped).

Who sees what

Other verified users see your first name, age, photos, bio, interests, work (if you choose to show it) and your note for an event. Only the Rumaal team sees your selfie, LinkedIn link and email, and only to verify you and keep the app safe. Your selfie is deleted once you are verified. We never sell your data.

Chats disappear

Chat messages are deleted 24 hours after they are sent. We do not keep a history. The only exception: if someone reports a chat, a copy of it is kept with the report so we can review it.

Where it is stored

On Supabase (database and private photo storage), Vercel (hosting) and PostHog and Google Analytics (usage and traffic analytics, no session recording, no ad targeting from our side).

Your choices

You can edit your profile any time, and Delete my account removes your profile, photos, plans and Chitthis. For anything else, write to hello@rumaal.live.
